Backed by over 15 years’ experience as a general dentist with emphasis on cosmetic aspect of dentistry, Natalie enjoys providing patients with individualised treatment plans that address their oral health needs. She recognises that most patients are not keen to be in the dentist's chair and so has developed a gentle, caring approach to treatment.
Natalie's long and distinguished career has made her recognise the importance of providing children and adolescents with appropriate treatment to maintain caries free oral health and a happy smile. She believes that every smile matters.
dr. Johanna van der Walt
Johanna is a Otago graduate who enjoys providing friendly and gentle general dental care. She spent a year working as a dental house surgeon at Christchurch hospital, before making the transition to private practice dentistry. As a dentist she strives to do what is best for her patients and enjoys working with patients to achieve their oral health goals.
Although originally from Whangarei, she loves living in Christchurch and enjoying the many outdoor activities Canterbury has to offer.
SHeree Nilsen, b.h.sc. (OTAGO)
Sheree is our dental hygienist and graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Dental hygiene) in 2005. She spent a few years working on the Sunshine Coast for a periodontist, and has practiced in Christchurch, Auckland and Mount Maunganui. She has a friendly and caring manner and enjoys helping patients grow more confident in the dental environment. In her spare time, she likes to be near the ocean, loves health and fitness and you will often find her walking around the Port Hills.
With over 25 years of experience as a dental receptionist and a chair-side assistant, Lynda has recently moved back to Christchurch and loves both her roles at Smile Concepts. She is an art connoisseur and as a hobby, paints with oil.
Rene is a qualified dental assistant, born and brought up in Christchurch with over 15 years of experience. She has worked for the Canterbury District Health Board (CDHB) in the Oral & Maxillofacial department and enjoys working in a surgery, assisting dentists with dental procedures which includes sedation. She also enjoys working as part of a team and interacting with patients.
With over 15 years of international experience in different businesses, his experience and skills in non-clinical areas complement the expertise of the clinical team, which enables the clinical team to focus on patient care. His business and technology educational background allow him to fully understand the requirements of the practice which help in meeting expectations of patients.
